Make a Water Mark on Gimp

1. Open the picture you want to put the mark on.

2. Select the text tool.

3. Make a text window type what you want your mark to say pick the size font and color.

4. Use overlay or grain merge (note if using grain merge you may need to change the opacity so that it appears a little more transparent.)

This is how I make all of mine.

(Please excuse how crappy this looks its the fist time I have done something like this a a visual for people. I hope it helps)
